Michael Jackson was finally laid to rest at a private ceremony, attended by family and friends at the Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park, five miles from Hollywood, 10 weeks after his sudden demise.
The burial was delayed due to a reported disagreement among his family members over a suitable burial place, Contactmusic reported.

The legendary hitmaker, who died on June 25 at the age of 50, had a star-studded public memorial service at the Staples Center earlier.
The funeral ceremony was attended by Jackson's family, including his mother Katherine and father Joe, his siblings, and his children Prince Michael, Paris, and Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket.
His body was to be entombed in a crypt at the Mausoleum amidst Hollywood's stars.
"It will be respectful and peaceful," the Sun quoted a source as saying.
The send-off, amid a $1million security operation, had to be followed by a private wake at a Pasadena restaurant.
Close friends of the Thriller hitmaker including Elizabeth Taylor, MaCaulay Culkin and his girlfriend Mila Kunis, and Chris Tucker were also present.
Taylor, devastated by MJ's sudden death, had earlier refused to participate in the public memorial service, saying she did not want to be part of the 'whoopla', but had agreed to attend the private ceremony.
Jackson's death, which occurred due to a drug overdose, has now been officially ruled as homicide by prosecutors after weeks of investigation. Cops are still probing into it.
