Dev D girl Mahie Gill looked stunning as she shot for a title track of the film Mirch at Dreams Zone Studio, Jogeshwari (a western suburb in Mumbai) on Wednesday.
Mahie, who plays a sutradhar (narrator) in the film, was shooting for the folk version of the song Mirch (hence the red-hot costume) which will appear in the beginning of the film.
She's also shooting for the retro version of Mirch, which is directed by Vinay Shukla (Godmother, Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche). The film also stars Shahana Goswami and Arunoday Singh.
While Aladin boasts of Amitabh Bachchan and magic, we're rather curious about the leading lady of the film.
The lady in question is Miss Sri Lanka (2006) Jacqueline Fernandes, who was formally introduced at the film's launch in Mumbai on Wednesday. She plays Jasmine.
The actress was accompanied by her co-star Riteish Deshmukh and director Sujoy Ghosh.
Aladin, which is a contemporary look at the fairy tale about a genie, played by Bachchan, also stars Sanjay Dutt as the Ringmaster. It hits theatres on October 30.
Elsewhere in Mumbai, Salman Khan and Ayesha Takia Azmi were locked in a tussle.
Not to worry though, as the actors playfully wrestled to promote their upcoming movie Wanted.
