Sepang International Circuit (SIC) received a touch of Bollywood when Shah Rukh Khan visited the place.

The star made the quick stop-by after being invited by former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

'This is my first time at a race track. I am flying back after this because of work. Besides, Dr Mahathir is my favourite person in the world. I met him for lunch,' The Star Online quoted him as saying.

Shah Rukh visited the garages of the Lotus Racing team and Hispania Racing Team (HRT).

He also met up with Lotus Racing team principal Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes and HRT team driver Karun Chandhok, the sole Indian in Formula One this season.

Shah Rukh was accompanied by actresses Minissha Lamba and Anjana Sukhani.

Hope among the ruins
