Gerard Butler beat hunks Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and George Clooney to be named the celebrity that women find most attractive, says a British poll.

The Bounty Hunter topped the survey carried out by cosmetic treatment website The Good Surgeon Guide, reports The Mirror.

Founder Christiana Clogg said, 'With his alleged relationship with Jennifer Aniston making headlines, and a number of successful blockbuster films under his belt, Gerard Butler is certainly in many women's thoughts.'

She added, 'He always appears fresh and handsome in the spotlight, and I am sure has a style many men envy.'

Inglourious Basterds star Brad Pitt took second place, followed by Clive Owen and Robbie Williams.

Pirates Of The Caribbean's Johnny came fifth, George was sixth and Will Smith took seventh spot.

British pin-ups Robert Pattinson, David Beckham and Prince Harry completed the top ten.
