National award winning actor Prakash Raj married Bollywood choreographer Pony Verma at a simple ceremony in Mumbai on Tuesday.
The marriage ceremony was attended by family and close friends.

The wedding reception held later at a suburban five-star hotel saw the likes of filmmaker Boney Kapoor, his actor wife Sridevi, actress Rani Mukherji and director Priyadarshan in attendance.

This is second marriage for 45-year old Raj, who divorced his first wife Lalita Kumari to tie the knot with Varma.

The 45-year old South India actor, who has starred in Bollywood movies like Khakee and Wanted, had won the National Film Award for the Best Actor in 2009 for the Tamil film Kaanchivaram, directed by Priyadarshan.
He has also acted in Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam films.
