Tamil Nadu's marriage of the year is taking place on September 3 at Raja Muthiah Hall in Egmore, Chennai, when Tamil superstar Rajnikanth's youngest daughter Soundarya, who heads Ocher Studios, will tie the knot with her fiance Ashwin Kumar. The couple got engaged on February 17 in Chennai's Park Sheraton Hotel.

Naturally, we were curious to know what the place -- which will host, among others, celebrity guests like Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, former chief minister J Jayalalithaa, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi -- looks like.

Well, for one, the location is ideal. Raja Muthiah Hall is located in the heart of Chennai. It is actually a twin hall, the other hall is called Rani Meyammai Hall.

The hall is huge and can accommodate more than 1000 guests. There is also a balcony which can seat 500 more guests. The hall is completely air-conditioned and has an equally huge dining hall.

And yes, there is ample space for parking too.

The staff at the hall are cagey about who the caterers will be for this special wedding. Given the profile of the guests, security is expected to be very high on D-Day.

Many important marriages have taken place in this popular marriage hall -- including World Chess Champion Vishwanathan Anand.
