They are the big names down south, trying to make a name in Bollywood.

So who exactly are these hot women? Let's find out.

Click through the slide show, and don't forget to vote for the hottest heroine at the end.

Priyamani

Down south, this hottie doesn't need an introduction, having acted in a number of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films. She has won numerous awards for her work in films like the 2006 Tamil film Paruthi Veeran and the 2008 Malayalam film Thirakkatha.

So it was only a matter of time that the National Award winning actress turned her attention to Bollywood.

She made her Hindi debut in Mani Ratnam's Raavan, where she shared screen space with Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Ram Gopal Varma's Rakht Charitra, starring Vivek Oberoi and Tamil actor Suriya, followed.

Does she get your vote?

Neha Sharma

Originally from Bihar, Neha Sharma got lucky after her pictures -- taken during a few amateur modelling stints in college --got circulated down south.

Though films were not her first choice, she happily signed a Telugu film Chirutha, opposite Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja, despite the language problem. Kurradu followed.

After struggling with the language, Neha was quite relieved to land her first Hindi film, Crook: It's Good To Be Bad opposite Emraan Hashmi.

Again, it was her pictures that found their way to Mukesh Bhatt and Mohit Suri, the producer-director duo of the film, who decided to sign her on.

Though the film was a flop, she looked good enough to eat.

Aindrita Ray

Like Neha, Ray is not originally from the south.

The pretty Bengali girl was studying for a bachelor's degree in dental science in Bangalore when her part-time modelling stint got her into Kannada films. It helped that she could speak the language.

Since her acting debut Meravanige in 2007, Ray has appeared in a number of commercially successful films including the critically acclaimed Manasaare, where she played a mentally challenged girl.

Her Bollywood debut, A Flat, however is nothing to write home about. The film starring Jimmy Shergill and Hazel, which released in October sank without a trace.

Trisha

Born Trisha Krishnan, the actress is well known in Tamil and Telugu films.

She first started off in Tamil movies with a supporting role in Jodi in 1999. She followed it with the 2002 film Mounam Pesiyadhe, for which she won a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

The best was still to come for the actress in the form of Saamy (2003), Ghilli (2004) and the Telugu film Varsham (2004) for which she won her first South Filmfare Best Actress Award.

It was with this impressive background that she made her Bollywood debut in this year's Khatta Meetha opposite Akshay Kumar.

Asin

The Malayalam girl wowed Telugu audiences with her film Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi in 2003

Several films later, she won her second South Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in her second Tamil film, Ghajini (2005).

She reprised her role in the Hindi remake of Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan in 2008.

But after that, the actress has not seen much success in Bollywood with her second project London Dreams opposite Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan flopping badly at the box office.

It's too soon to write her off, though, as she still has one movie Ready opposite Salman Khan in the pipeline.

Shriya Saran

She's appeared in several South Indian movies, the most famous being the Sivaji: The Boss opposite Tamil superstar Rajnikanth.

She's no stranger to Bollywood either, with films like Mission Istanbul and Awarapan.

Then there was the Hollywood film The Other End of the Line opposite Desperate Housewives' star Jesse Metcalfe.

All in all, an impressive run.
