Meet the 2010 Grammy Award winners

Country star Taylor Swift bagged four Grammy Awards at the prestigious US music ceremony in Los Angeles.

 

The 20-year-old won Best Country Album as well as the Album of the Year for Fearless, and Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance for the track White Horse.

Beyonce Knowles' six awards included Song of the Year, Best R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song -- all for Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It). 

 

She also won Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance award for At Last and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for Halo. Beyonce was additionally honoured for contemporary the R&B album with I Am... Sasha Fierce.

A R Rahman couldn't ask for more as he scooped two awards at the awards ceremony. Congratulate him here on his own Fan Page.

Rahman landed awards for Best Film Song and Best Soundtrack, both compositions for the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.

His Jai Ho song in the film also won in the Best Motion Picture Song. The song was sung by Sukhvinder Singh, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Vijay Prakash, Tanvi Shah along with Rahman.

In rap, Jay-Z, D.O.A won Best Rap Solo Performance for Death of Auto-Tune.

Eminem, Dr Dre, 50 Cent -- Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group for Crack A Bottle.

 

Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West -- Best Rap/Song Collaboration for Run This Town

 

Eminem -- Best Rap Album for Relapse

Atlanta-based country Zac Brown Band won the Grammy for Best New Artist beating fellow nominees Keri Hilson, MGMT, Silversun Pickups and the Ting Tings.

One of the biggest awards of the night went to Kings of Leon. The band won Best Record of The Year for Use Somebody.
