Upendra is directing a Kannada film after ten years, and this has created a lot of buzz in the industry and among his fans.
Reports of the film's budget touching Rs 25 crore have only upped the interest in the film.
Lakhs of rupees have been spent on the very stylishly done photo shoot alone, by producer Rockline Venkatesh.
Along with lead pair Upendra and Nayanthara, 30 body builders, 10 models, 20 extras dressed as thugs in tuxedoes, 15 bikes and 10 imported cars find a place in shoot.

Nayanthara adds glamour. However these pictures don't reveal anything about the characters that they play. The team is very tight lipped regarding this.
Asked if Upendra plays a journalist given that the invites to the launch party were designed like a newspaper, pat comes the reply, "You guys guess."
Even the heroine has been given just a brief synopsis according to the team. This was apparently enough for Nayanthara as she even changed her dates to sign this movie.

Asked Upendra about his this ten year hiatus as a director and he says, "Before zeroing in on any subject, I put myself in the place of the audience. I want to see if I can watch such a movie. I need to convince myself first. I was somehow satisfied with this subject. I will be treating this film like a first time director... someone who is out to do something very different."
The actor has previously directed hits like Tharlenan maga, A, Sshhh...and Om and Upendra.

"Going by the symbol, most people have guessed the name of the film to be Super. But let them see the film and then interpret the symbol and give their own title," says Rockline.
The film will be made in Telugu and Tamil as well. Parts of the film will be shot in Hyderabad and Chennai accordingly and local artistes will be used. In Kannada alone, 25 new faces are being introduced.
The film shooting is expected to be over in 100 days.
