Pix: Bollywood rocks Stardust Awards
The stars shone bright at the Stardust Awards in Mumbai on Sunday with performances by Katrina Kaif and many others.
The awards, which celebrate new talent in the film industry as well as congratulating the current stars, declared Katrina the Best Actress for her roles in New York and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

The actor took home the Best Supporting Actor award for his work in Paa.

Meanwhile, on stage, politician Amar Singh hugs his close friend Amitabh Bachchan. Bachchan won an awards for the Star of the Year (Male) for his film, Paa.

Kareena Kapoor won big awards too -- the Star of the Year (Female) award, and the Editor's Choice Award Best Actress. The actress seemed to have charmed one and all with her performances in 3 Idiots and Kurbaan.

Kareena's ex, Shahid Kapoor didn't go home empty-handed either. He won the male counterpart of the same category as Kareena -- Editor's Choice Award Best Actor.
Akshay, who generously congratulated Shahid, also won an award for Best Actor for the film, Blue. He was, in turn, congratulated by veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha.

Actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Kangna Ranaut chose the elegant sari to dazzle the night.
The Sri Lankan beauty, who made her Bollywood debut with Aladin beat Shazahn Padamsee (Rocket Singh -- Salesman Of The Year), Giselle Monteiro (Love Aaj Kal) and Shruti Hassan (Luck) to win the Most Exciting Face of the Year award.

Asin and Koena Mitra chose to go western. Only the hemlines differ.

Imtiaz Ali gestures as Shazahn Padamsee looks on. The director won the Dream Actor Readers' Choice Award for Love Aaj Kal, which was also declared Hottest Film Of The Year.
