Look like the drought facing Telugu film releases is finally coming to an end with the onset of the festival season.
Already Namo Venkatesha (starring Venkatesh and Trisha), Adhurs (starring NTR Jr, Nayantara and Sheela), Shambo Siva Shambo (starring Ravi Teja, Priyamani, Naresh, Sunil and Shiva Balaji), and Om Shanti (starring Kajal Agarwal and Navdeep) have released during Sankranti.
Now the latest movie to hit the screens is Seetharamula Kalyanam (Lankalo) -- in other words Seetha Rama's wedding in Lanka. The film releases on January 22 and stars Nitin and glamour girl Hansika Motwani.

Eeshwar Reddy's earlier venture was Siddhu from Srikakulam (starring Allari Naresh).
"Lord Rama visited Lanka for his wife, in our film the hero goes to Lanka for the sake of his lover," Reddy said of the film.
The plot is not revealed but the film is expected to be a family entertainer.

Prior to that Drona (known more for Priyamani's bikini act) was a rather pedestrian fare too. Nitin must be looking to remedy that situation with Seetharamula Kalyanam.
Meanwhile, Hansika's oomph rather than her acting skills are under the spotlight these days. Her films Maska (with Ram) and Jayeebhava (with Kalyanram) didn't fare too well.
Though her films with both the Rams didn't set the box office on fire, she signed this film with Rama in the title. Let's see if this brings her luck.

The crew consists of music composer Anoop Reubens, lyricist Bhaskar Bhatla, choreographer Prem Rakshit and editor K Venkateswara Rao.
