Red Carpet stunners at Screen Guild Awards

The awards season is here. After the star-studded Golden Globes awards, it was another chance for Hollywood stars to shine on the red carpet at the 16th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles last weekend. Check out the winners list right here.

 

Take a look at the actresses, who looked best on the red carpet, in no particular order:

 

Mariah Carey leads the pack with this gorgeous one-shoulder red gown. The Precious star chose retro curls and a diamond bracelet to complete the outfit.

Kate Hudson

The star of Nine sure knows how to grab eyeballs. Check her out in this white hot Emilio Pucci gown with a plunging back.

Penelope Cruz

Hudson's Spanish co-star Penelope was just as stunning in her embellished black L'Wren Scott sheath, Yossi Harari earrings, Chopard bracelet, Casadei heels and retro waves.

Drew Barrymore

The star of Grey Gardens brought back old world charm in this tiered navy Monique Lhuillier gown and bouffant hairdo.

Carey Mulligan

Though the nominee for Best Actress (for An Education) doesn't quite fill out a gown like Mariah, her jewel-detailed, scarlet Lanvin gown and Fred Leighton diamonds still managed to grab out attention.

Marion Cotillard

Unlike most of her fellow actresses, the nominee for Nine chose to stand out in this short white embellished Elie Saab Haute Couture dress with Chopard jewels, a Judith Leiber clutch and Elie Saab heels.

Christina Applegate

The star of Samantha Who? has just the right colouring to carry off this pale blue Roberto Cavalli gown with aplomb.

Diane Kruger

The star of Inglorious Basterds looks like a million bucks in this off-the-shoulder Jason Wu gown in marigold.
