It's obvious that many Bollywood stars decided to get a ringside view of the World Cup straight from South Africa. Our favourite tweets came from SRK and Lara Dutta

Despite a few mishaps, SRK seems to be having a blast. Though he landed in SA to find no car waiting for him and his family -- eventually the Indian embassy came to his rescue and sent a car -- the last few days have been full of pictures with his son, his family headed for the safari and of the lions he saw on the safari.

He tweeted, 'Gotta go now & find german t shirts on the roadside...wife refusing to wear football jerseys...do they do designer stuff for world cup? Off to durban...am so excited that will be showing my kids the world cup...hope they remember it like i do seeing it on tv with my mom.'

Dutta, who seems to be in South Africa with Mahesh Bhupathi, tweeted, 'Just got into Jo'burg. So far Spanish supporters outnumbering the Dutch! Had a contingent blowing their vuvuzelas right from the airport!:-) Its an amazing atmosphere! South Africa has bn wonderful hosts! Fans from across the globe r raring 2 go! EVERYONE has a jersey, headgear on. 5 rows away from the pitch seated in a sea of orange & red! Spain has got me ths time! So happy & excited 2 b!'

The actress who calls herself 'grandmother to all seven super daft boxer pups' has posted pictures that share her excitement! The actress, who has been in Cape Town since the semi-finals, seems extremely upbeat. She tweeted earlier, 'Shot Andaaz & NO Entry in Cape town! Have very fond memories! Absolutely luve the energy there.'

Rahul Khanna summarized yesterday's World Cup Match best when he tweeted, 'Manicurists the world over are going to be unemployed for a while thanks to this match.'

Or even what Aamir Khan said about the most widely spoken Octupus in the world, 'Paul beat me but it was not a fair contest, he got 8 hands! Dear Paul, aap purush nahi... Octopus ho.'

We even like Bipasha Basu's spunky tweet, 'Why do I need to know paul's predictions, I have john the octopus! He predicted rt from d start spain would win.They did! Yay!'

Guess who was at Big B's house for dinner. As Big B articulated, 'Ok ! So that was Aamir coming over for dinner and wanting to see PAA .. Just finished .. He loved it .. Said Abhishek was terrific!'

Aamir Khan agreed and tweeted his response, 'Just got back home after watching Paa. Had a good cry. Lovely film. Amithji is outstanding. Learning experience watching him.  Really loved Abhishek.
