For the 3 Idiots star, zipping from one event to the other, playing drums and piano and addressing the press is all in a day's work.
Aamir Khan has been one busy man these days. The star was all over the place on Tuesday evening, zipping from one event to the other, playing the drums and the piano and shooting for a television show till the wee hours of next morning.
Khan's day started around six in the evening at one end of Mumbai where he launched the music of his forthcoming film Peepli Live.
Soon after the launch Hirani and Khan dashed off to the suburbs where they were to be special guests on Indian Idol along with Sharman Joshi.
On the show Khan and his two colleagues promoted the film's television premiere. The superstar also showed off his musical side as he played the piano and sang.
At 4 am when the shoot was finally over, Aamir Khan addressed the media. He said he's learning to play musical instruments and also confirmed that his wife Kiran Rao's film Dhobhi Ghat would indeed be screened at the Toronto Film Festival. "It hasn't been announced yet but I think Dhobhi Ghat will be at Toronto Festival," he said "I am very excited as it is a great platform for Kiran's film to be showcased."
About 3 Idiots being aired on TV barely six months after its theatrical release, Aamir Khan said, "When a film is good people like to watch in theatre and then watch it again on television. But there are many who miss it in the theatre for some reason so this (the television premiere) is a great opportunity for them. I feel the right thing would be the film to first release in theatre, then on DVD and then on television after 6 months."
Khan also spoke about Peepli Live and clarified that the film it is not about media bashing at all.
