After the superhit Wanted in which Salman Khan played a cop, the brawny actor will be seen yet again in Dabangg, produced by his brother Arbaaz Khan.
Salman plays Chulbul Pandey, a corrupt cop from north India, who is also known as Robinhood Pandey.
If Salman's dialogue in Wanted -- 'Ek baar jab maine commitment kar di, toh phir main apne aap ki bhi nahin sunta' -- became every child's favourite dialogue, then Dabangg too has a potential winner: 'Hum tum main itne chedd karenge ke, ki canfuse ho jaoge, ki saans kahan se le aur paade kahan se.' Here's another Salman gem: 'Abhi tak sab ko hiyala hai, ab sab ko dhoounga.'
S Vijayan, who had created the breathtaking stunts in Wanted, is expected to recreate his magic in Dabangg as well.
Abhinav Kashyap's Dabangg also marks the debut of Shatrughan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi. The film also stars Om Puri, Dimple Kapadia, Vinod Khanna, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arbaaz Khan, Mahie Gill and Sonu Sood.
