Get your low down on what's happening in the world of entertainment, right here!

Two And A Half Men star Charlie Sheen will plead guilty to assaulting his wife when he appears in court next week and serve a 30-day jail sentence, according to reports.

The 44-year-old, who's due in court on June 7, will seek a 30-day sentence for a misdemeanor charge stemming from his wife Brooke Mueller's accusation in December that he threatened her with a knife during an argument.

Sheen had pleaded not guilty to abuse charges in March and was supposed to go to trial next month. He was arrested on Christmas Day at the posh ski resort following his wife's charges, and released a short time later.

Both Sheen and his wife went into rehabilitation clinics after the incident.

'Charlie intends to go to court on June 7 to plead to a misdemeanor and immediately begin serving his 30 days in jail,' The Telegraph quoted a source as telling People magazine.

'With good behaviour, he could end up doing 15 or so days.'

007's Goldfinger Aston Martin up for grabs

Sean Connery poses with the Aston Martin from Goldfinger

The Aston Martin car that James Bond drove in the film Goldfinger is expected to fetch 4 million pounds at an auction.

Hitting the open market for the first time, the DB5 sports car Sean Connery drove, comes complete with the full complement of ''Q Branch'' gadgets including machine guns, bullet-proof shield, revolving number plates, smoke screen and oil slick.

All of the gadgets are still in full working order, although the machine guns do not fire for safety reasons.

The car, which also featured in 1965's Thunderball, was bought from Aston Martin in 1969 by American radio DJ Jerry Lee for 12,000 dollars.

Mr Lee, who used to drive it around in the 1970s, is now selling it at auction in London, with the proceeds going to the Jerry lee Foundation.

'After the car was used in Thunderball, Aston Martin sold it to Mr Lee who has owned it ever since.

'He paid 12,000 dollars for it at the time. He had to really persuade Aston Martin to sell it to him and they did on condition they could use it for promotional purposes whenever they wanted.

'In fact the car was last seen in public in the 1970s and has been locked away in a private Bond-themed room since then.

'The car is up and running and all the gadgets still work too. You can use the smoke screen and oil slick discharge, the revolving number plates and activate the bulletproof shield at the back.

'The machine guns obviously don't work -- they never have done -- but you can still press a button inside and it moves them into position.

'The car is road legal and whoever buys it will be able to take it out on the open road or drive it to work if they wanted,' The Telegraph quoted Peter Haynes, of RM Auctions, as saying.

The auction takes place on October 27 and Haynes said they are expecting huge interest in it from around the world.

Elizabeth Taylor has made public a series of never-before-seen love letters she received from Richard Burton which gives new insight into their passionate but turbulent romance.

In the letters, Burton bared his soul, and even suggested committing suicide if she leaves him, saying he is infatuated and cannot live without her, reports The Telegraph.

'If you leave me I shall have to kill myself. There is no life without you,' Burton wrote.

The letters revealed that the Welsh star used a series of pet names to describe Taylor including "My Lumps," "Dearest Scrupelshrumpilstilskin," and "Twit Twaddle." He signed himself "Husbs."

In one letter he praises Taylor's acting while describing the profession as "sissified and ridiculous" for a "really proper man."

Extracts from the love letters will be published in Vanity Fair and are taken from a book Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century.

Taylor showed the letters to the authors Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger.

In one letter Burton wrote, 'One of these days I will wake up -- which I think I have done already -- and realise to myself that I really do love. Who invented that concept? I have wracked my shabby brains and can find no answer.'

In another he called Taylor "probably the best actress in the world" and praised her "extraordinary and unique beauty."

Romance between the two began on the set of Cleopatra in 1961 when both were already married. They wed in 1964 but divorced in 1974. The following year they remarried in a remote village in Botswana, but they were divorced again less than a year later.
