Last year, India's Got Talent garnered a tremendous response and became a big hit. In fact, the season's winning act, the 56-man strong Prince Dance Group from Berhampur, Orissa, has been selected to perform at the opening ceremony of the upcoming 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Now, India's Got Talent is back, for season two, on TV channel Colors.

Two of the jury members -- Kirron Kher and Sonali Bendre -- have been retained, while Sajid Khan replaces Shekhar Kapoor as the third.

Over to Sonali Bendre, who gives us the scoop on the new season:

Do you miss doing films?

Not really. If I return to films, the feeling to do it must come from the heart.

My son is only 5-years-old, and I need to spend quality time with him. TV shows require me to give just a couple of days in a week, so I can easily balance home and work.

'I feel humbled looking at people's talent'

What prompted you to come back on this show as a judge?

There is no age bar in this show. That is one thing that I like about it. Last season, we had mothers and grandmothers appearing, (which means that previously) there were so many women who had talent but probably never got an opportunity to come out and actually showcase it.

Some were (old), while some were young -- but all of them had a spectacular talent. You really feel humbled looking at such talent.

There are few people lucky enough to do the job of their choice and enjoy it. Most of them do jobs out of necessity. So, if those people come and showcase their hidden talent and get a smile on their face -- I feel happy about it.

'I think you should allow your kid to know and watch what is dangerous'

You said that you are happy that your son can watch this show? But there are some dangerous stunts too. How safe is that?

I think you should allow your kid to know and watch what is dangerous instead of keeping them away from it. Otherwise how will she or he know that it is unsafe?

In fact, you should tell them more about things that you don't want them to do. Parents need to explain it carefully and clearly. I am sure the kids will understand.

Is there any talent that you have noticed in your son?

He is too young and has just started exploring things. But he thinks that he is talented in everything [giggles].

'Season one winner has set a benchmark, so it's going to be tough for the season two participants'

What will be your judging criteria? Have you raised the bar this season?

Yes. We had some amazing people last season, so we will try to raise the bar this time. I will try my best to bring out talent that is truly deserving and entertaining this year, too. Season one winner has set a benchmark, so it's going to be tough for the season two participants.

Prince was not just a dance group. It was beyond that. What they do is actually tell a story through their performances.

'I have started exercising and taking care purely for health reasons'

You look trimmer and hotter than before. How much of effort has gone into it?

Thank you. I am getting compliments from everyone and it feels so good.

Actually I have started exercising and taking care of my body purely for health reasons. I have not lost anything on the scale, but only in inches [smiles].

Do you watch television?

Not really. I watch only my show, but now I will watch Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai (produced by her husband Goldie Behl and sister-in-law Shrishti Arya). It's a home production, and the promos are looking very nice and I am really excited about it.
