Johnny Depp is rumoured to be moving to an English village.

The Pirates of the Carribean star was seen at a pub in at Rougham, Suffolk.

Locals also admitted that they saw him driving a white van through the village recently, reports The Sun.

'Rumours are flying that he's coming here,' Brenda Beeton, vice-chairman of Rushbrooke with Rougham parish council, said.

I've heard his children might have been registered at the village school,' she added.

Over the weekend, Katy Perry wore a rubber World Cup dress designed specifically for her that showed her loyalty to both the England and the US soccer teams.

England's Union Jack on one side and America's US Glory on the other side covered Perry's World Cup dress.

The 25-year-old singer was told that her dress was delayed while on a flight to UK where she was being interviewed on James Corden's World Cup Live talk show, reports The New York Daily News.

'Another amazing race for a dress has happen again. plane had 2 emergency stop cuz someone passed away mid flight! So sad,' Perry tweeted.

'So we'll see if the dress makes it in time. If not, my world cup convo is gonna take a beating on the chat show,' she added.

Sir Ian Mckellen has said that the shooting of the troubled Lord of The Rings prequel The Hobbit is expected to start later this year.

Fans were left in bewilderment after Guillermo Del Toro quit as the film's director on May 10 following a chain of delays associated with the ongoing financial problems at MGM Studios.

The studio was put up for sale in 2009 after falling heavily into debt, reports the Daily Express.

But McKellen, who plays wizard Gandalf, is positive that the fantasy film -- based on JRR Tolkien's first book -- will hit the big screen in due course of time.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, he wrote, 'Hobbit sets are ready, script ready and movie is casting this month. Fans are not to worry. The films will get made. I suspect we'll start shooting at end of this year.'

Pamela Anderson has hinted she could be appearing on the stage soon.

The former Baywatch star, who recently appeared on Dancing With The Stars -- America's version of Strictly Come Dancing, admitted she had some "fun things coming up".

'I have a lot of things planned with dancing and with some theatre, different things that I'm doing,' The Mirror quoted her as saying.

'I guess [the show] kind of inspired me, it felt good to use my body in a productive way,' she added.

Anderson, who is a fitness freak, reveals that she really doesn't enjoy working out that much.

'I don't really like to work out. I love dancing -- obviously -- and being in the ocean. I had a good paddle this morning,' she said.

David Hasselhoff has signed on to return to hit US show The Young & The Restless.

The actor will reprise the TV soap role that first made him famous.

The Baywatch creator's Dr. William 'Snapper' Young character is set to hit the small screen.

Hasselhoff played the character for six years and admits it was astonishing returning to the show.

'I was terrified because they don't have cue cards anymore. You really have got to be on your game. You get one take. You rehearse it and you shoot it. It is like jumping out of a plane. You better be ready to open that chute,' The Daily Express quoted Hasselhoff as saying.
