Michael Jackson's 1983 hit Thriller has been named the 'Most Groundbreaking Video Of All Time'.
The 14-minute zombie epic, directed by London filmmaker John Landis, topped a poll for MySpace UK.
Will Francis, site editor of MySpace UK, said modern videomakers could learn a lesson from the past.
'Only two of the top ten were made this century. Which shows despite massive advances in technology, a brilliant idea coupled with a great star is an unbeatable format,' Sky News quoted him as saying.
In fifth place was Johnny Cash's poignant black and white film for Hurt -- shot while he was in poor health just six months before he died from diabetes complications.
The song and the ground-breaking video was a huge hit when it topped the charts in 1975 and gained popularity again after lead singer Freddie Mercury died in 1991.
There's not much to the song, which consisted of repeated phrasing of its title but the video featuring robots, floating heads, skeletons and women in swimsuits was something else.
Rounding off this top 10 is the all white rapper group's homage and parody of 1970s crime drama television series like Hawaii Five-O, The Streets of San Francisco, S.W.A.T., Baretta, and Starsky and Hutch.
