Spotted at Cannes 2010: Robin Hood rules!

A whole lot of celebrities came out to cheer for Sir Ridley Scott's Robin Hood, starring Crowe and Cate Blanchett, which opened this year's Cannes Film Festival.

Nineteen films compete for the prestigious Palme d'Or which will be awarded on May 23.

Besides Aishwarya Rai and Eva Longoria, who walked the red carpet for the film as well as for L'Oreal, there was actress Salma Hayek looking gorgeous in a deep maroon gown.

How can the screening of Robin Hood be complete without the man who plays the colourful character?

Russell Crowe looks cool as ever as he arrived with wife Spencer.

Speaking of cast members, it would be remiss not to include the lovely Cate Blanchett.

The muscles from Brussels actor Van Damme and his wife Gladys too made it to the screening of Robin Hood.

Also spotted at the event was singer Natalie Imbruglia.
