Vote! Ash's hottest look at Cannes

Three of India's hottest women became a cynosure of all eyes at the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival

While Deepika Padukone made India proud with her sari-clad red carpet appearance, Mallika Sherawat worked the crowd with her daring 'props'.

But as usual it was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who grabbed the maximum eyeballs with her red carpet appearances as the global face of L'Oreal.

Lavender beauty

Aishwarya opened the festival in style with this fully embroidered tulle and mousseline gown from Lebanese designer Elie Saab.

Round solitaires adorned her ears and a buffon hairstyle completed the look.

Black magic

Lavender gave way to this embroidery-layered strapless gown with lacquered black jet beads and multicolored crystals at the bust in classic black, which Aishwarya made the most of.

The Giorgio Armani Prive black evening gown hugged the actress' figure in all the right places.

A Ferragamo black satin clutch completed the look.

Mauve elegance

Photographers went crazy during the premiere of Oliver Stone's Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps starring Hollywood big shots Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan, Charlie Sheen, Michael Douglas and Susan Sarandon.

And not it was not the star cast that generated the slew of flashbulbs going off. Rather it was Ash's stunning mauve Gucci gown that charmed the photographers and fans.

 

 

Traditional perfection

Aishwarya shut up critics who have accused her of favouring western couture over Indian ensembles when she stepped out wearing Kolkata-based designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's creation.

She was accompanied by husband Abhishek Bachchan.

The Hot LBD

Okay, this was not a red carpet event but we think Aishwarya never looked hotter as she promoted her upcoming movie Raavan at the Cannes film festival, in this little black dress.
