A quick update on what the stars are saying in 140 characters.
Amitabh Bachchan seems to have more than just a sense of humour. He's also more open.
He's already tweeted over 400 tweets in 7 days and seems to be happy sharing everything from his dad's quotes and poetry to even his diet! Sample this one on day 4: "Hogging Gujju snacks and making a mess of my weight reduction program. Must be in shape for oncoming films!!"
He tweeted with son Abhishek who cautioned him to "Drive Safely Pa."
The senior Bachchan also talks about daughter-in-law Aishwarya: "see you in a bit, going to have lunch ..Aishwarya is back from Chennai, and need to spend some time with her before she travels again."
Communicates with Shammi Kapoor: "Shammi ji !! Charan sparsh ! How are you feeling ? Hope all good. Do you still listen to the Hanuman Chalisa I sent.. love."
Laughs with Shah Rukh Khan on his comments about his wife calling him two personalities: "ShahRukh !! Finally managed to get this thing right .. found you and after pressing endless buttons here I am ..Why 1&2 ? Two moods? and if wife calls you that then mine would be AB 1 to 100 !! ha ha Interacts with Sachin Tendulkar : "Thank you for the welcome Sachin .. Hope you and the family are well, and hope you got my tweet about the swimming.. Love."
He's still learning the twitter language as he asked for suggestions on how to change his design and even post from his mobile. He asked on day 4: "Can someone explain to me what account getting verified in 3 days means, and what is so great about it ..??"
When you are Mr Bachchan, verification doesn't need one lakh fans, eh? He's pretty close to the number though!
Abhishek's housekeeping woes
Jr Bachchan on the other hand is going through some house keeping woes in Istanbul!
Check his tweets: "Another gem from the hotel house keeping community. So get back from work at 7am, tired and in need of some major sleep I pass out. 9am the house keeping decide to barge into my pitch black room. Upon seeing me buried under my duvet they ask........ ARE YOU SLEEPING????" I mean COME ON!!! Am I sleeping? NO! I'm testing out my new night vision glasses in this pitch black room under my duvet!!!"
"YES YES YES!! I had put the DO NOT DISTURB sign. Evidently house keepings reading skills ain't too good!"
What's interesting are the replies from Karan Johar who says,"...atleast no one walked into your bathroom while you were bathing!!! That privilege I have experienced!!!
Or Uday Chopra who says cheekily to both, "just a suggestion guys but ever try locking ur doors!"
Party time!
It speaks volumes when a superstar parties for the success of another actor which is exactly what Shah Rukh Khan did.
The actor threw a party for the Kites team at his house. He tweeted along with a picture post, "didn't know suzanne sings like a dream....so much talent such lil time to find it."
He tweets with another picture: "kites celebration at home...lovely to have seen duggu & team having worked so hard and making an earnest film. well done anurag. sitting with bhavanapandey & loving the songs by barbara & kintro, barbara's brother on the guitar...spanish of course."
SRK even tried a hand at singing. "Sang a song for suhana for b day..i think she ananya shania were lil embarrassed...price they have to pay for having me as father & uncle."
Guess the party was quite a success because Suzanne Roshan tweeted, "Had a beauutiful night w all the favourite people in my life..truely bliss..feelin very special..love n happiness for ever! Thank u SRK n putlu-- u both just love me too much!! We had a blast last night we gotta repeat session soon!"
Another person who seems to be in a partying mood is Lara Dutta who partied in France.
She says, "Have stopped for a quick caffeine boost between walking around, taking in the scene and indulging in some retail therapy. The rain ain't staying mainly in the plain in Spain! Has crept in2 the Riviera & its now a drizzily, cold day!Perfect 2 sneak in2 a bk store. The Tweety Love Story
Is everything back to square one with Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor?
Given the actress just added Shahid and Ishaan on her following list -- we would think so. Wouldn't you?
Maybe that might just be the reason besides the recent plane crash that makes Shahid so philosophical? He tweets: "Life's too short people .... Make it count N if u love someone show it ... Wanna do something just do it .... No regrets that's the only way to go."
Now this is one love story we would like to see re-told again!
Shilpa Shetty's health tips!
Shilpa maybe in hospital tending to her mom but is making time for everything!
She tweets: "Todays diet tip:Substitute all WHITE with BROWN..Rice, Bread(wholewheat) n Sugar(its called Demerara not)this is a healthier option.try it:)"

She even posted a picture of her new look on the dance show Zara Nachke Dikha, and also pictures of her new look for a shampoo she endorses.
And like all daughters, says: "Parents become like stubborn kids as they grow older,they wanna do their own thing.Hmmmmm!!been givin mom diet lectures she hates them;)"
Amar Akbar Anthony -- remade?
If Amar Akbar Anthony gets remade with Rahul Khanna, Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan, then you've got to hand it to twitter for a perfect casting.
A conversation started by NDTV's Barkha Dutt and Jr Bachchan/Rahul Khanna seems to have made this thought into a possibility:
"Fully agree barkha!!! Rahul my vote for wittiest tweeterer or whatever you call us nowdays! take a bow my friend. AND DONT FORGET US IN YOUR ACCEPTANCE SPEECH!!!
To which Khanna replied: "@juniorbachchan @bdutt You guys are too kind... :-)
Barkha Dutt: "in duet performance.. can just see it boys.."
Rahul tweeted: "Hahaha... Add Ranbir and we can perhaps do a gen-next Twitter version of Amar Akbar Anthony...:-)"
And Bachchan said: "super idea. I'm on!"
It's another matter that Dutt in jest wants a part too: "but can i be the girl who pops out of a cake and does a jig, pretty please? just wanted to steal that moment for myself and greedily re-write history : )"
