And we haven't even touched the ensemble cast yet. Here's a closer look at the players in this romantic comic caper.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Mala

Mala is an aggressive tomboy whose dress sense is as loud as her laugh. She is a total spendthrift to boot.

But 35 years of marriage to Kishen (Akshay Kumar) has transformed the former tomboy into a bored shopaholic. If her car stereo conks off, she won't buy a new stereo, she'll buy a new car. And that's earned her the nickname Kharchvati.

Not surprisingly she and her husband cannot see eye to eye.

While Mala is a tomboy, Kishen is the exact opposite -- a total geeky, toothy simpleton, who is bullied by all. After working long hours at his father's business, he becomes the proud owner of a popular Bollywood Cafe.

Given his timid personality, it's not surprising that he is totally henpecked.

While his wife is extravagant, Kishen is a maha kanjoos who puts in long hours shopping for the cheapest vegetables daily!

Kishen and Mala's constant bickering has left their son Bunty fearful of getting hitched, which is problematic as the young man is in love with Tanya.

An ultimatum from Tanya's granddad forces him to take a drastic step -- travelling back in time -- to save his parent's marriage.

His plan is to change his parents' arranged marriage into love marriage so that they don't end up at each other's throats.

Here's one interesting tidbit about Aditya, who is a VJ for Channel V in real life. While in Action Replayy he plays Aishwarya's son, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish, he plays her husband!

Bunty's girlfriend Tanya loves him and knows that he loves her too. But she's mystified because every time she proposes marriage, he runs away.

This is Sudeepa Singh's first Bollywood role. She is from Amritsar, Punjab and has participated in Zee Cine Star Ki Khoj talent contest, where she was a runner up.

She has acted in soaps like Kabhie Toh Nazar Milao, and Ardhangini, and a Punjabi film with Jimmy Shergill and Juhi Babbar called Yaaran Naal Baharan.

The leader of Mala's gang, he takes pleasure in torturing Kishen. He assumes that Mala will be his one day, and when he senses a rival in Kishen, all hell breaks loose.

Rannvijay, who hails from New Delhi, first worked as a construction worker in New Jersey, USA before turning to a career in Bollywood. He has featured in films like Toss, Mumbai Cutting... A City Unfolds and London Dreams. He recently hosted MTV Roadies.

He has also hosted MTV Scooty Pep Teen Diva show, MTV Splitsvilla, MTV Force India -- The Fast and the Gorgeous and MTV Girls Night Out.

Mala's best friend Mona is not as aggressive as Mala.

And just like the nursery rhyme, every where that Mala went, Mona was sure to go.
