The biggest stars have starred in Yash Raj movies. While some of the jodis clicked with their sizzling chemistry, there are some which really didn't work.

The latest to get captured on screen is Anushka Sharma and newcomer Ranveer Singh, in the YRF venture Band Bajaa Baraat.

We take a look back at some onscreen jodis captured by Yash Raj Films. Click through the slide show and vote for the best pair at the end.

Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone in Lafangey Parindey

Lafangey Parindey was a story about two lower middle class characters finding love in the midst of adversities. Even though we could accept Neil as the brash young street fighter, the lady opposite him seemed too stiff to be in his league.

Think Priyanka Chopra in Kaminey and you'll know what we're saying.

Ranbir Kapoor and Bipasha Basu in Bachna Ae Haseeno

Ranbir Kapoor and Bipasha Basu in Bachna Ae Haseeno

Bachna Ae Haseeno is the classic case of too many cooks spoiling the broth.

Of course, we could barely take our eyes off Bipasha's never ending legs, which she amply flaunted in a pair of hot pants. But were you turned on by her chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor?

Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Dhoom 2

Hrithik's chiselled body and Aishwarya's curves were possibly the only two reasons why Dhoom 2 became a hit that it did.

The sheer intensity of the physical chemistry between these two Greek gods was too hot to handle even for Yash Raj. Eventually, the steamy French kiss sequence had to be snipped off apparently because Ash had just been married to Abhishek Bachchan then!

Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta in Salaam Namaste

Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta in Salaam Namaste

Perhaps the first mainstream Bollywood movie to have dealt with the issue of live-in relationship, Salaam Namaste stood strong thanks to the peppy chemistry between its protagonists.

Be it their first meet-cute or the eventual tension-filled situations that they find themselves in, Saif and Preity played out the roles that seemed cut out only for them

And to think the movie that was loosely based on Nine Months.

Kajol and Aamir Khan in Fanaa

You don't need to be an exceptionally brilliant filmmaker to bring out the best in Kajol and Aamir Khan

The actress, who made a comeback with Fanaa, played the role of a blind girl who falls in love with a tourist guide. She charmed is effortlessly even as she failed to see her man for who he truly was.

Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukerji in Saathiya

Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukerji in Saathiya

Playing the young couple who elope and start a new life, Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukerji's characters managed to strike a note of familiarity amongst youngsters.

Vivek with his boyish looks and Rani, who looked more stunning than ever, beautifully fit into their parts as the couple that loved, lived, fought and reconciled.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

The film that made us fall in love would possibly have not been half as romantic had it not been for Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

Khan's exuberance and Kajol's restrained performance made this movie an instant classic. And oh, did we forget to mention Shah Rukh's dimples that made us melt like chocolate in our seats?

Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor in Chandni

Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor in Chandni

Chandni was a huge hit and managed to prolong Rishi Kapoor's then fading career.

Sridevi was at the top of her career at that time, and their chemistry did so well that they later did another movie together called Gurudev. But that bombed badly.

Amitabh Bachchan and Rakhee in Kabhi Kabhie

Amitabh Bachchan and Rakhee may not have much screen time together in this film. But their chemistry in the song Kabhi Kabhi more than made up for it. It made them one of the most memorable jodis on celluloid.

Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha in Silsila

They were the best screen couple of their time and have done many films together. Yash Raj encashed on their onscreen chemistry, and all the rumours circulating around them at the time.
