Get your low down on what's happening in the world of Hollywood, right here!

The sci-fi blockbuster, Toy Story 3 has become UK's second highest-grossing film of all time in its seventh week of release.

The third installment of the Disney Pixar franchise, which opened in the UK in July, has now taken 70,131,106 pounds at the box office, second only to James Cameron's Avatar.

It overtook Mamma Mia! and Titanic's box office hauls of 69.2m pounds and 69.02m pounds respectively at the weekend, reports the BBC.

But it still has a way to go before it catches up with Avatar, which has so far taken 93.4m pounds in the UK to date.

The blockbuster was re-released last month with an additional nine minutes of footage.

Rumours are abuzz that Twilight star Robert Pattinson is set to appear in the final episode of American drama comedy show Entourage.

Apart from Pattinson, both Eminem and Christina Aguilera have confirmed they will be making cameo appearances in the show's final episode.

Pattinson -- who was catapulted to fame after playing Edward Cullen in hit film franchise Twilight -- recently revealed he intends to continue his intense shooting schedule for the foreseeable future.

'I just want to work as much as I am now. I like working all the time because I spent so many years before Twilight just doing stuff for two or three months of the year. The rest of the time I'd do nothing, or I'd just have tiny little jobs," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted the 24-year-old star as saying.

The series six finale of Entourage famously included cameo appearances from Matt Damon and Bono.

John Lennon murderer denied parole for the 6th time

Mark David Chapman, who killed John Lennon, has been denied parole for the sixth time and will remain imprisoned for at least two more years, New York state officials have said.

Chapman, 55, was denied release following a video interview with a parole panel.

Chapman, who has a history of mental illness, pleaded guilty to shooting the former Beatle to death on the street outside his New York City home in 1980.

He is next eligible for a parole hearing in August 2012, officials said.

In a written statement, the parole board acknowledged his institutional record, but cited the "disregard" he showed "for the norms of our society and the sanctity of human life" by carefully planning Lennon's murder.

'This premeditated, senseless and selfish act of tragic consequence... leads to the conclusion that your discretionary release remains inappropriate at this time and incompatible with the welfare of the community,' the BBC quoted the New York state parole board as writing.

An alleged love child of Michael Jackson will never be able to prove that the King of Pop was her father as a judge has shut her down.

Mocienne Petit Jackson filed documents back in July -- claiming she's the love child created by Michael and Diana Ross' sister, Dr Barbara Ross-Lee -- asking for a court-ordered DNA test, reports TMZ.com.

An LA County Superior Court judge just ruled saying a DNA test is not in the cards.

Mocienne also wanted custody of MJ's kids and a cut of the inheritance -- but those claims also went down in flames.

Celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have bought a 40-million-dollar mansion in Italy -- the couple's third home.

They own a luxurious Los Angeles mansion and a 3.5 million dollar French-style home in New Orleans, reports the Daily Mail.

Situated in the Northern Italian hills of Valpolicella, the property boasts 18,000 square feet and 15 bedrooms, seven baths, a movie theater, two swimming pools, a gym and several Jacuzzis.

The property also has stables and a vineyard.

Jolie apparently fell in love with Italy after filming The Tourist there earlier this year.

She and Brad intend to use the Italian property as a vacation home and continue to use their Loz Feliz house as their main base.

Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber team up for comic lawsuit

Justin Bieber and Lady GaGa

Kenneth Feinswog, a lawyer working for Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber, has threatened legal action against comic book creators Bluewater over a series of unauthorised cartoon strips of the stars.

The Poker Face hitmaker and 'teen sensation' Bieber have both been animated as part of a series of graphic biographies by Bluewater Productions.

The Gaga version was released in June and the Baby singer's comic is due to come out next month.

However, the pair's attorney is seeking to block the publications.

He has served the company with a cease-and-desist letter, threatening to sue Bluewater bosses if the books aren't pulled.

Publisher Darren G Davis is refusing to bow under pressure and insists his animators are well within their rights to create comic strips from celebrities' lives.

'We are 100 per cent within our first amendment rights. We knew our rights on this before we jumped into the biography world. These are 100 per cent biographies on their lives,' the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

'We reach out to all the celebrities and some choose to work with us and some do not. If they do choose to work with us, we donate ads and money to a non-profit (organisation) of their choice. We offered the same deal to Bieber's people,' he added.
