After the stupendous success of the romantic Tamil film Vinnaithandi Varuvaya and its Telugu remake Ye Maaya Chesave, Gautham Vasudev Menon is busy shooting a dark film, Nadunisai Naigal.
As the story unfolds at midnight, Menon shot the entire film in Chennai at night.The two-hour long Tamil film is said to be a psychological thriller.

After impressing in Vaaranam Aayiram, Sameera Reddy will once again be seen in the lead role in this film.

Another interesting aspect about the film is that it has no songs or any background score.

The film is currently in the post production stage and is expected to hit the big screen soon.

Once the work on Nadunisai Naigal gets over, Gautham Menon will start the Hindi remake of Vinnaithandi Varuivaya with Prateik Babbar and Trisha in the lead roles.
It will be a joint production between Gautham's home Production and 20th Century Fox.
