When celeb moms flaunted their baby bumps

Konkona Sen Sharma, the newest Bollywood mommy on the block, became the first Indian celebrity to pose on a magazine cover, flaunting her pregnant belly. The actress appeared on the cover of OK! magazine's India edition this month.

Dressed in an olive green cape, the glowing mom appears looking down at her belly smiling tenderly.

While this might be the first time for India, there have been numerous instances in the West when moms-to-be have flaunted their baby bumps proudly for magazine covers. We take a look.

The singing sensation graced the cover of OK! magazine's UK edition this month, coinciding with Konkona's appearance in the India edition. The songstress appears nude while husband Nick Cannon covers her assets. 

The same month saw her nude once again for Life&Style Weekly magazine, with her blonde curls covering her assets.

German supermodel Claudia Schiffer posed for long-time admirer fashion designer Karl Lagerfield for the German edition of high-end fashion magazine Vogue last year.

One of the most successful and popular models of the 1990s, Claudia was carrying her third child at the time.

Described as blissfully married at the time, Christina Aguilera added another dimension to her infamous confrontational sexuality by appearing nude for the cover of Marie Claire in December 2007.

While the nude pictures were saved for the inside pages, the Dirrty singer sizzled in a leather jacket on the cover.

Czech supermodel Eva Herzigova announced her first pregnancy with a cover photo on Italian Vanity fair in 2007.

Pop sensation Britney Spears took the world by storm with this snapshot on Harper's Bazaar cover in 2006, when she was expecting her second son with then husband and backup dancer Kevin Federline.

The singer was six months pregnant at the time and looked refreshingly pretty with her new black hair.

The Matrix actress Monica Bellucci appeared on the cover of Italian Vanity Fair last year. The actress, who was pregnant at 45, wanted to let people know that middle-aged woman can become mothers too.

The Malena actress had also posed preganant for a magazine cover before this. It was in 2004 for the same magazine and had reportedly infuriated the Vatican.

And finally, the woman who started it all. Demi Moore posed naked for Vanity Fair when she was seven months pregnant with her second child.

The landmark 1991 picture had the Ghost actress wearing huge diamonds and cradling her swollen belly with one hand.
