For the first time, Mumbai's horrific 26/11 experience will be re-lived on screen, in the new television series Strike Back. Aired on Cinemax channel, the show opened on August 12.

The show is based on a novel by the same name by ex-British armyman Chris Ryan, and has garnered some good reviews. It is even better feted as 'better' than the popular series 24.

The show is about a British military unit that tries to thwart an international terrorist group that attacks a hotel and drew in as many as 1.1 million viewers on Friday alone.

Also being credited as one of the rare UK-US collaborations (it's produced by Sky), the series has gained a reputation for its lively tone and multi-cultural inclusiveness.
