The twitter world is quite a busy one, and Bollywood contributes a great deal to it. Here's looking at the best star tweets of the day.

Akshay Kumar may be busying shooting for his next film Thank You in Phuket, Thailand, with Sonam Kapoor, but he still seemed to be in a playful mood.

He wrote, 'Well I've reached Phuket where Sonam & i are shooting a song on a Cruise Ship for 'Thank You'. I tried playing basketball wiv her, but she kept saying the Ship keeps movin thats why she couldn't score, a true Heroine of course :) should reach Singapore by evening, that is if none of us have gone over-board, its so tempting :)'

Sonam Kapoor, on the other hand, is feeling homesick. She wrote to sister Rhea Kapoor, 'miss uu'

Everyone turned up at the premiere of No One Killed Jessica! And quite a few tweeted about it too.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote: '

Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur didn't seem too happy with the media: '@ premier of Jessica. Why does media always want to know what u think of the film before u c it?'

Filmmaker Ken Ghosh informed us: 'so @bdutt gets portrayed for the 2nd time in a film..very well by rani m, "NOKJ" is a gutsy film...vidya takes the film to another level.'

Writer Chetan Bhagat posted pictures of the film's leading ladies,
Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan, as he praised, 'Saw No one Killed Jessica at the premiere. Fab. One of the best Hindi films in modern times.'

No One Killed Jessica wasn't the only hot topic of discussion on twitter. Shanti star Mandira Bedi, who posed topless for Vogue's latest issue, created a lot of ashanti on twitter.
