The Mast Mast girl Raveena Tandon is back in Bollywood after a hiatus in Puri Jagannadh's Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap. She is all set to share screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and has an interesting item number, Main Chandigarh Ki Star, in the film.

But Raveena tells Patcy N that the number is not a raunchy one like the item songs in today's movies and she has done no brazen baring act in the song.

Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap is said to be your comeback film?

Comeback is an overrated word. Whatever I do people say it is my comeback whether it is TV or films every new reality show that I sign people say that this is my comeback on small screen. Now I am judging my fifth reality show still they say it is my comeback (laughs).

I can't call this (Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap) my comeback film because I just did a bilingual film in Bangla called Laboratory and I was doing another film with Jayaji (Bachchan) Aap Ke Liye Hum (earlier titled Chaasni), which got stalled for some reason. So I don't know how much of a comeback this is really, I would prefer to call it a backdoor entry into films

But it is your comeback in item song?

Honestly it is not an item song. The coinage of an item song nowadays is a little different today, when I did Sheher Ki Ladki the heroine would do one song on the stage and that would be a catchy number and so it would be called an item song. Today item songs are very different so I have tweeted to my fans not to expect too much from this item song, as I am totally covered from top to bottom in it.

This is your fourth film with Amitabh Bachchan how was your equation with him?

My equation with Bachchansaab depends on what film I am doing with him. During the shooting of Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan I was a brat with him as my role demanded that and also he has seen me since I was two years old, when I went on the sets with my father.

During Aks I had intense scenes and songs with him and he would tell Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra (director of Aks) whenever I see her I feel shy around her I have seen her since she was two and below my knee level and now she is so tall. It was difficult for me to work with him in Aks because I have always idolised him. Whenever I see him I get nervous and start rambling, I tell him things which I am not suppose to tell him and remain quiet about things that I want to tell him. I always goof up when I am in front of him. In Aks I had confrontation scenes with him -- I had to look into his eyes and talk to him, I had very intense scenes so keeping that in mind I kept my distance from him throughout the movie.

In Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap we had very comfortable scenes. I am playing myself, a very carefree person, so I would to say anything to him because the film required it, I wasn't even scared that he might feel bad. It was very easy and fun to play this role with him. In this I am playing a character of a woman who is bubbly and adores him, I have a crush on him. I am playing his junior who he treats like a kid and I am absolutely in love with him.

What made you sign this film?

When this film was offered to me first I had thought I won't do it but then Ramuji (Ram Gopal Varma), Puri (Jagannadh) and David (Dhawan) called me and said 'Ravs only you can do this role'. Then I came to know that Bachchansaab is behind all this and he is in the film too, I changed mind and I thought even if I had five scenes in the same frame as Bachchansaab it will be a record for me.

Tell us about the song Main Chandigarh Ki Star?

It is a very cool, fun song. It is an introduction to my character that is a very talkative, over dressed, over the top person, and thinks of herself as a rock star. It is a catchy number and I loved moving on it. The best thing was that we finished it in one day.
