Uday Kiran blazed an impressive trail on the movie circuit till a setback pushed him practically into oblivion for a few years. He bounced back in 2007-08 with Viyyalavarikayyalu and Gunde Jhallumandi which did decently at the box office.

His film Nuvvekkudunte Nenakkadunta is due for release. After his birthday, on June 26, Uday Kiran is all set to do Dil Kabaddi directed by first timer Sri and produced by Sivakumar.
