The year 2012 saw some of our hottest stars give up their single-hood to marry the loves of their lives in star-studded affairs.

Here's a look at the big, fat filmi weddings of this year.

Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor

Despite a 10-year age gap and several doubts, the Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor romance flourished and turned into marriage when the duo opted for a registered legality, preceded by a sangeet party, and then a grand reception in Mumbai and Delhi attended by famous friends like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor.

The Kahaani star exchanged vows with UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor in a fiercely private (part-Tamil, part-Punjabi style) ceremony at a bungalow in Bandra wearing a pretty kanjeevaram and trousseau designed by Sabyasachi, of course.

Denying their together status for a good nine years, the stars of Masti and Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya decided to make it official with a series of celebration -- sangeet, mehendi, Maharashtrian style nuptials, church wedding and a star-studded reception.

After a extravagant engagement ceremony last year, Telugu star and Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja married his longtime sweetheart Upasana Kamineni in an equally glittery function at a farmhouse outside Hyderabad following which they took off for a four-day honeymoon break.

Just when Reema Sen appeared to have gone into hiding, the actress made a dazzling appearance as Manoj Bajpayee's sly second wife in Anurag Kashyap's critically-acclaimed Gangs of Wasseypur.
