Here's what your favourite Bollywood celebrities are tweeting.

Bollywood stars, who have been calling for better policing and stricter laws for the protection of women in the wake of New Delhi gang-rape case, criticized Abhijit Mukherjee, son of President Pranab Mukherjee, for his misogynistic remarks.
Here's what they tweeted:

Farhan Akhtar: 'Abhijit Mukherjee, the Presidents son, says students should not wear make up and/or go to discotheques!! All time low. U cant blame the President for his sons comment but I think as his parents, they should ground him and start home-schooling him again.'

Sandhya Mridul: 'This is exactly the mindset we are fighting! Irresponsible statements like these are just what reduces women to objects!'

Pritish Nandy: 'Thank God, the President of India also has a daughter Sharmistha who speaks sense! She is embarrassed by her brother's comments.'

Anupam Kher: 'Abhijit Mukherjee is one of those mentally bankrupt politicians who are completely unaware of reality of Modern India. He needs treatment.'

Shekhar Kapur: 'unfortunately politics of rape r not confined to gender issues, they r disgustingly embraced by d political system. a 'good girl' does nt protest/complain, raise her voice, go out at night, wear modern clothes.Yet v expect thm 2 b part of India's progress?'

Shabana Azmi: 'Should Abhijeet Mukherjees sexist comment about women protesters being 'dented and painted' be reciprocated with 'damning and shamming'?'

Onir: 'The presidents son should be sent to a rehab home to educate him about his regressive thinking. Abhijit Mukherjee should be banned from politics. Our country can't continue to have such male chauvinistic leaders.'

Milind Soman: 'Abhijit Mukherjee's callous remark clearly shows the mentality that needs to be weeded out & destroyed. No sense or sensitivity. ONLY SHAME'

Kunal Kohli: 'Abhijit Mukherjee's mind is regressive, corrupt, sick. He's an idiot. I withdraw my last statement n apologize if I've hurt his sentiments. Withdrawing a statement doesn't withdraw your thought process Mr. Abhijit Mukherjee.'
