Shah Rukh Khan ko gussa kyun aata hai?

Is all well in Shah Rukh Khan's life, or is he going through a personal or professional crisis like Farah Khan claims?

Art imitates life, they say. Not quite.

Take a scene in Ra.One wherein Shah Rukh Khan, accompanied by his son, gets mugged on the streets. Instead of tackling the diminutive thug, he lets him off easily and preaches Mahatma Gandhi's lessons on non-violence.

Few months later, Sanjay Dutt threw a bash to celebrate the accolades he received for his creepy, spiteful turn as Kancha Cheena in Karan Johar's super-hit Agneepath remake. This time, SRK was in no mood for Gandhigiri. Wine or woe, SRK reacted to director, better known as Farah Khan's husband, Shirish Kunder's provocative swipes with a fist and a punch.

It's, of course, not a very nice thing to do. But how many 'We condemn this act of violence' reactions did it spawn anyway? On the contrary, if the excitement it generated on Twitter is anything to go by, SRK's aggression certainly got some support from fans, fraternity and even haters.

For one, Kunder is not exactly the harmless underdog you would want to root for. (Read the man's tweets and you'll get the drift.) In the past too, he's evoked the ire of the fourth estate with his offensive remarks.

Also, he wrote, produced, edited, among a whole lot of others things, the utterly abominable Tees Maar Khan.

Secondly, and most importantly, the prospect of a good fight on a dull Monday appears to have gotten the better of everyone.  Even dairy giant Amul wasted no time in coming out with its 'Kha.One'  take on the brawl.

Too bad Farah's brother Sajid Khan and brother-like Sajid Nadiadwala intervened to patch things up between the squabbling SKs.  In any case, what exactly did the choreographer-turned-filmmaker and once SRK's closest chum mean when she said, 'The person who is hitting has either a personal or professional crisis going on.'

We've got a few fun theories.

Please go ahead and post yours too!

When No.One liked Ra.One!

India's answer to Hollywood clout of superheroes was expected to break new records.

Instead, it got thumbs down from critics and audience for its excessively indulgent, idiotic content.

Among the many uncomplimentary reviews that came its way, the one dubbing it SRK's most expensive mid-life crisis got the star's goat.

A visibly riled SRK responded with a resentful 'Go to hell' during an interview with a news channel.

Aa gaya hai dekho Bodyguard!

For all his, 'Don ke dushman ki sabse badi galti hai ke woh Don ka dushman hai.'

If only.

Being in SRK's bad books has resulted in inexplicable good luck for Salman Khan. Ever since their famous quarrel at Katrina Kaif's birthday party, Salman has emerged invincible starring in blockbusters like Wanted, Dabangg, Ready and Bodyguard.

His television stint as the host of Dus Ka Dum and Bigg Boss 4/ 5, too, fared fabulously in comparison to SRK's no show(s) -- Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? and Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout.

He's friends with Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Farah Khan, working with Yashraj Films and Karan Johar digs him too.

Understandably, Sallu is Shah Rukh's sore spot and every time someone hits it, he better be prepared to take one himself. Time to rewrite those lines, pal?

Pati, Patni aur Piggy!

He may be the greatest romantic on screen but Shah Rukh Khan has enjoyed a family man reputation through most of his career.

The man's reputation as the ideal husband, who once famously refused to pose with anyone except wife Gauri for magazines, took a beating when rumours of his closeness to Don co-star Priyanka Chopra began to circulate.

And tongues wagged beyond control after the pair was photographed stepping out of SRK's office as late as 3am. Apparently, they were rehearsing for an awards show.

One can only imagine the kind of music he must have faced for this at home.

Today's SRK. Tomorrow's Superstar Ranbir Kapoor!

Young blood is fast, furious and fervent.

Surely SRK is feeling the heat from new heroes on the block.

Especially when they happen to be of the staggering variety. Ranbir Kapoor, anyone?

The Rockstar has got lineage, good looks, popularity and that rare asset called credibility. Perhaps the frustration that manifested in a blow on Kunder was a product of his loss to a subordinate at an awards function preceding the fight.
