Recap: The Drama of Bigg Boss 5

The latest season of Bigg Boss saw quite a few controversies, many more fights, and a LOT of drama.
 
We take a recap of the events in the house. Take a look.

Sunny Leone's pole dance

Bigg Boss assigned contestant Sunny Leone the task of entertaining the housemates with different dance numbers everyday for a week.
 
One of those numbers included a sensual pole dance.
 
Everyone sure had a good time.

Sumo wrestler Yama's entry

Sumo wrestler Yama had an interesting stay in the house.
 
The housemates found him quite entertaining as well, even though there was a communication gap.
 
When Yama jumped into the swimming pool, Amar and Sky couldn't help but make fun of him. Sidharth, on the other hand, joined him in.

The other highlight of his stay was the banana-eating competition that pitted Yama against the three-man team of Amar, Sidharth and Sky.
 
The three had a blast wolfing down 47 bananas between them while Yama could only manage 17. The enormous wrestler's excuse for not packing in more bananas was that he had had a heavy breakfast.

The housemates enjoyed a wet and wild rain dance in the garden on Juhi Parmar's birthday.

Nari Shakti- Lady Raga

Lady Raga -- the official singer for the opening of the Indian F1 race -- was given the task of dressing up like pop icon Lady Gaga, who was in the country then.
 
Raageshwari performed and entertained the housemates, and was much appreciated by all.

Andrew Symonds' Gabbar

Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds played Gabbar Singh to the hilt when the housemates were told to dress up like the characters in Sholay, and perform some scenes from the film.
 
Sunny Leone danced to the sensous Mehbooba song, Pooja Missra was Basanti, Sky was Jai, Amar was Veeru, Sidharth was Thakur, Juhi was Kalia and Shonali was Samba.

Mahesh Bhatt's entry

Film director Mahesh Bhatt entered the Bigg Boss house for a couple of hours to offer Sunny Leone the lead in his upcoming movie Jism 2.
 
Later, he spoke to us about his experience in the house.

Swami Agnivesh

Social activist Swami Agnivesh entered the house for three days and the contestants fell in love with him.

Pooja Missra's re-entry

Pooja Missra made a surprise re-entry into the house as Andrew Symonds's translator. The housemates were quite astonished to see her.

Christmas gift

On Christmas morning, the contestants were woken up by a Santa Claus, who gave them gifts and danced with them.
 
Later, 'Santa' opened the mask, and out came Mahek Chahal! Sidharth, apparently, was the happiest of the lot.

Nawab and mujra with Shakti Kapoor

As a part of the performance, Shakti Kapoor was asked to dress as a Nawab while the women were dressed as mujra dancers, who had to try him with their adas.
 
Shakti was also made to judge this performance and decide who the best and worst dancers were.

Housemates meet their loved ones

The housemates had a pleasant surprise when their loved ones visited them in the house.
 
Sid met his mother Anuradha Sharma after two years and he couldn't believe his eyes.
 
Madhu, Sky's sister, tried to sort things out between Sid and Sky, who were going through a rough patch then.
