Yash Chopra's last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan tells a love story, told in his signature style. The chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif was all there, and Kaif totally rocked Chopra's vision in white.

Yet, the film was not without its share of flaws.

Veer-Zaara

Yash Chopra's 2004 film Veer-Zaara was a cross-border love story of an Indian Air Force pilot and a Pakistani heiress. The film had the basic elements of a Yash Chopra film and portrayed timeless love that was beyond boundaries.

Dil Toh Pagal Hai

Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor, Dil Toh Pagal Hai was a musical love triangle about a man who doesn't believe in love, a girl who believes in soul mates and another girl who believes love is friendship.

Lamhe

Lamhe was way ahead of its time, and was one of Yash Chopra's personal favourites.

The film told the story of unrequited love that Anil Kapoor's character had for Sridevi, who tragically dies in an accident. Later, her daughter falls in love with him, leading to much awkwardness but finally, giving way to love.

Chandni

Yash Chopra handled love triangles very well, and showed off this skill in Chandni as well.

Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor are in a blissful relationship until tragedy strikes, and the latter cannot walk again. When he spurns her, she finds love in the arms of Vinod Khanna. But as luck would have it, the two men bump into each other and strike a friendship, forcing Sridevi to choose between the two.

Silsila

Yash Chopra's Silsila was also way ahead of its times, and showcased an extra-marital affair without making any excuses.

A casting coup of sorts, the film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha and Jaya Bachchan, in a story that was rumoured to hold true in their real lives.

The trio, together with Sanjeev Kumar, gave touching performances, enhancing the film even more.

Kabhie Kabhie

The poetry in Kabhie Kabhie was enough to make you fall in love with it, and the actors -- Amitabh Bachchan, Rakhee, Shashi Kapoor, Waheeda Rahman, Shashi Kapoor and Neetu Singh -- made it even better.

Daag

Daag was a romantic suspense drama starring Rajesh Khanna, Sharmila Tagore and Raakhee.
