JHTJ, Son Of Sardaar greeted with mixed response at the BO

The two Diwali releases of 2012 -- Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar -- opened to mixed responses from the viewers. Both films released on Tuesday, November 13.

The collections suffered due to Laxmi pooja on Tuesday, but picked up the next day.

Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives the box office verdict for the week.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan

What works: Return of SRK as the romantic hero

What doesn't: Hackeneyed plot, weak story, bad editing, poor music.
