M
ila Kunis, who was recently crowned as the Sexiest Woman Alive by men's magazine Esquire, has emerged as the front runner to play the lead female role in the movie adaptation of novel Fifty Shades Of Grey.

The 26-year-old brunette's girl-next-door charm has put her to the top of the list of actresses in contention to play Anastasia Steele, who meets billionaire Christian Grey, the Sun reported.

Emma Watson and Kristen Stewart are also being favoured to star in the big screen adaptation of EL James' bestselling novel.

Ryan Gosling and The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder are popular choices to play Christian Grey.

The former teen, whom Roman Polanski was convicted of having sex with, is writing a memoir.

Samantha Geimer, now 47, has a deal with Atria Books for The Girl: Emerging from the Shadow of Roman Polanski.

Atria, a Simon and Schuster imprint, announced on Tuesday that the book will come out next fall.

According to Atria, Geimer will provide 'insight into many dimensions of the story that have never previously been revealed.'

'I am more than 'Sex Victim Girl,' a tag the media pinned on me,' Stuff.co.nz quoted Geimer as saying in a statement.

'My friends in junior high, scolded by their parents to stay away from that girl, also labelled me.

'I offer my story now without rage, but with purpose -- to share a tale that in its detail will reclaim my identity. I have been dogged by tired thinking and easy tags nearly my entire life. I am not a stick figure. I know what it is like to be a woman and a victim in the realest possible way,' she said.

Geimer's attorney, Lawrence Silver, will contribute to the book, adding 'his insights on the many fascinating and even shocking legal aspects of the story.'

Polanski was accused of plying Geimer with champagne and part of a Quaalude during a 1977 modelling shoot at Jack Nicholson's house and raping her.

He was initially indicted on six felony counts, including rape by use of drugs, child molesting and sodomy, but pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful sexual intercourse.

Pop star Lady Gaga was honoured with a peace prize by Yoko Ono at a ceremony to mark John Lennon's 72nd birthday.

Gaga was handed the LennonOno Grant for Peace in memory of the late Beatle in Reykjavik, Iceland on October 9, Lennon's birth anniversary, reported Aceshowbiz.

The 26-year-old singer was applauded for her tireless effort to support the LGBT community.

'She is not only an artist, she is also an activist, using her art to bring better communication to the world,' Yoko said.

'I'm supremely honoured to accept this grant and award today on behalf of youth empowerment around the world. I will
be donating this grant to the Elton John AIDS Foundation and I will be working closely with them to ensure that the money
goes specifically to those orphans and disadvantaged youth in America born with HIV or AIDS,' said Gaga.

The Judas hitmaker also recalled her childhood of living just a few blocks from Ono in New York and finding inspiration from the famous family.

'When I turned 19, I got (a peace sign) tattoo to remind me that if ever I was to gain the attention of the critical mass, even in an exponentially smaller way than John had, that I would commit myself to breeding compassion from my voice,' she said.

On Twitter, the singer wrote, 'Thank you @yokoono now i can do more, because of you. Today was happiest day i've ever
had. Here's me with my LennonOno Peace Prize. Yoko says, its a piece of the sky.'

She also posted a picture of her holding the LennonOno prize.
