According to the police, the incident happened when the starlet approached Raja with the script of a new project and he misbehaved with her in his car.
Raja was sent for medical tests following the actress's complaint and was later taken into custody.
Raja, who was granted bail today, has been booked under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the starlet, she had approached Raja to cast Rani Mukerji in her directorial venture.
