PIX: Bachchans, Kajol celebrate Durga Pooja

The film industry celebrated Durga pooja over the weekand at severals parts of Mumbai.

Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan visited the DN Nagar Sarbojanik Durga pandal (in suburban Andheri), which boasts of the tallest idol of Goddess Durga in Mumbai, at 22 feet.

Singer Swapna Mukherjee, who escorted them, was one of the performers at the pooja pandal.

Kajol's younger sister Tanisha serves bhog to the devotees at the pandel.

Kajol wore white for the pooja earlier in the day.

Kajol later changed into a gold sari, and posed with her mother Tanuja.

Rani Mukerji was absent from the celebrations but her parents -- Krishna and Ram Mukherjee -- joined in.

Actress Rituparna Sengupta serves bhog to the devotees. She was also one of the performers at the pandal.

Director Imtiaz Ali (Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal) attends the pooja celebrations.
