Okay, we're talking about the women in Ranbir Kapoor's reel life, not real life.

The next couple of films will see the superstar opposite different heroines. And while all the women look hot and interesting, there's no signs of a movie opposite his rumoured girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

Here is a dekko at each of the five actresses of his next movies.

Pallavi Sharda (Besharam)

Born and brought up in Melbourne, Australia, Pallavi has terrific academic qualifications (triple degrees in Law, Media & Communications and French from the University of Melbourne). She moved to Mumbai to chase her Bollywood dream.

So far she’s had supporting roles in My Name Is Khan, Heroine, Love Breakups Zindagi and Dus Tola, her true calling is Abhinav 'Dabangg 2' Kashyap.

It will be interesting to see how convincingly she plays the sardarni in Besharam.

Anushka Sharma (Bombay Velvet)

Though her screen outing with Imran Khan (Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola) was nothing to write home about, there are huge expectations of her teaming up with Ranbir in Bombay Velvet.

She has shown inherent spunk in her acting and Ranbir is carefree before the camera. Together, they could make this a special film.

Anushka is currently working with a method actor like Aamir Khan in P.K. and could do with the more relaxed Ranbir in Bombay Velvet.

Jacqueline Fernandez (Roy)

With a hat trick of major successes (Race 2, Housefull 2, Murder 2), Jacqueline has been noticed, and how!

She is the solo heroine opposite Salman Khan in Kick and now comes the pairing with Ranbir in Roy.

It is said that the film requires her to show her acting skills more than her glamorous side, so all eyes are on Jacqueline now.

Deepika Padukone (Imtiaz Ali's untitled film)

If Bachna Ae Haseeno was a humble beginning, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has pretty much nailed the pairing of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

The way they complement each other on screen is the stuff legendary pairs are made of.

Since Imtiaz Ali's films are high on romance and emotion, the two are expected to sizzle in this movie.

Parineeti Chopra (Karan Johar's untitled next)

Ranbir seems to be in the company of some really brainy women!

Parineeti holds a triple honours degree in Business, Finance and Economics from the Manchester Business School. And her acting talent has been attested to in Ishaqzaade and Ladies v/s Ricky Behl.

Thus far she has been cast opposite youngsters who are just one or two films old (Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sidharth Malhotra). So being cast opposite Ranbir in Karan Johar’s untitled film is as heavy duty as it gets.

(Pssst....Though Karan is yet to formally announce her name, our sources confirm that she is definitely in.)
