Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma arranged a special screening of his latest film The Attacks of 26/11 for BJP leader L K Advani and other top politicians. The film is based on the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

'Just finished a screening of 26/11 with some top notch politicians in delhi including L k Advaniji nd I am overwhelmed with the response,' he tweeted with a picture of them together (above).

The film apparently left Advani in tears.

'Advaniji had tears in his eyes by the end of the film nd his daughter Pratibhaji was visibly affected,' the 50-year-old filmmaker added.

He now hopes to hold a special screening of the film inside the Parliament. 'Member of parliament Rajeev pratap rudy told me that he wants to arrange a show of 26/11 for all the MPs inside the parliament,' he added further.

Stars like Shekhar Kapur and Amitabh Bachchan have also praised the film. The Attacks of 26/11 stars Nana Patekar as police commissioner Rakesh Maria and Sanjeev Jaiswal as Ajmal Kasab and releases on March 1.
