Sonakshi: I'll always be proud of Lootera

Sonakshi Sinha, who is getting rave reviews for her performance in Lootera, says that she will always be proud of the film.

‘And another journey comes to an end. We give you our labour of love - LOOTERA in cinemas today... A beautiful learning experience and a Film I will always be proud of - thank you team @looterafilm, @IshikaMohan, @RanveerOfficial, and above all @VikramMotwane :)’ the 26-year-old actress tweeted.

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the period romance drama film also stars Ranveer Singh.

Actor Zayed Khan and choreographer Geeta Kapur share their birthday today, July 5.

Farah Khan tweeted: ‘Happy bday 2 my baby @geetakapur ..was there 4 ur 18th bday n hope vl b 2gether til my 80th bday!’

Farah, who worked with Zayed in her directorial debut Main Hoon Na, also wished him and added: ‘N its also Zayed khans bday 2day!my Main hoon na baby..Happy bday n god bless him with a great year n life.’

Riteish Deshmukh wrote: ‘Happy Birthday my darling co judge - @geetakapur - have a superrr day n tell ur mum she bakes the best cakes in da world.’

Grand Masti set for a September release

Grand Masti, the sequel to Indra Kumar's 2004 comedy Masti , starring the trio Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh, is all set to release on September 6.

Vivek Oberoi tweeted: ‘The countdown begins! #grandmasti releases 6 sep! Get ready for a riot coz the masti boys are BACK!!!’

Aftab Shivdasani added: ‘Saw the uncensored theatrical trailer of Grandmasti that's for the internet only, my advice- "parental guidance required for adults too" :) And the trailer should be released verrrrry soon by the way...The wait is almost over... :)’

It’s seems to be a season of injuries in Bollywood.

After Shabana Azmi and Veena Malik, it’s starlet Sofia Hayat who met with a minor accident recently.

Describing the accident, Sofia tweeted: ‘Dress is ruined from last night..I fell in a sink..my bum did on the bar, I burnt my arm cut my foot and set the alarm off in the pool. I jumped in the pool dressed..the alarm went off cos it was 5am ur not allowed in! Woke up wet! Fell down stairs in my search for the sea..’

She also shared a picture (above) of herself and added: ‘Injuries from last night.’
