Rockstar actress Nargis Fakhri, who plays a journalist in Shoojit Sircar's upcoming political thriller Madras Cafe, looks past cutout guns at the film's trailer launch in Mumbai on July 11.

Earlier titled Jaffna, the film brings together the hit Vicky Donor team -- Sircar, John Abraham (as actor-producer), scriptwriter Juhi Chaturvedi (as dialogue writer) and Ayushmann Khurrana.

Leading man and co-producer of Madras Cafe, John Abraham looked fresh and in his element as he made his way to the trailer launch.

The film is set for an August 23 release.

Directed by Nikhil Advani and starring Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan, Arjun Rampal and Shruti Haasan, the film is a crime thriller and will release this Friday, July 19.
