PIX: Bollywood pays last respects to Sonu Nigam's mother

Singer Sonu Nigam's mother Shobha Nigam passed away on February 28, at her residence in Andheri, a western suburb of Mumbai.

The 63-year-old was suffering from cancer.

Nigam performed the last rites earlier today at the Vile Parle crematoriam.

Ghazal singer Talat Aziz was among the many friends from the industry, who turned up to condole the bereaved family.

Special 26 actor Manoj Bajpayee had earlier tweeted, 'Dear friend Sonu Nigam's mother passed away after battling with cancer. May her soul rest peace! Take care of yourself Sonu.'

Veteran actor Sachin Pilgaonkar makes his way to the venue.

Music composer Jatin Pandit, who's had a long working relationship with Sonu Nigam, was also spotted arriving.
