Bollywood stars turned to Twitter to remember legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray on his 92nd birth anniversary. Here's what they tweeted:

Rahul Bose: 'In memoriam : He would have been 92 today. thank you for a lifetime of wonder. the Apu trilogy. still my top film(s) of all time. charulata, jalsaghar, nayak, goopy gyne...all devoured before i turned 21. then picked up again to taste more slowly. Played Feluda in two BBC radio plays, The Golden fortress and The Mystery of the Elephant God, in 2007. incredible fun. A USC film grad told me 'aranyer din ratri' was introduced in class as 'the closest to perfect screenplay ever written'. Was filming 'English, August' when Ray passed away. in tribute, Dev Benegal has me holding that newspaper headline in a shot.'

'Sarabjit Singh's death has pushed the Indo-Pak relationship to the brink'

Bollywood stars expressed their grief over the death of Sarabjit Singh. Here's what they said:

Salman Khan: 'Freedom at last hope they give him to his fly. v all tried, guess nt hard enough. may god give his family strength n his soul rest in peace.'

Farhan Akhtar: 'Any1 who justifies the callousness of Pak authority handling of Sarabjit by highlighting some case in the past, needs a lesson in humanity. Pak authorities must be answerable to all its citizens who feel ashamed by this incident and Ind authorities to all those who feel abandoned.'

Mahesh Bhatt: 'Sarabjit Singh's death has pushed the Indo-Pak relationship to the brink. The Pak civil society needs to push their govt to act humanly!'

Preity Zinta's Ishkq In Paris to release

After a lot of delays, Preity Zinta's comeback film Ishkq In Paris will finally release on May 24.

'Just finished the press conference & I'm super excited to share with you all that #IshkqInParis will release on the 24th of May :-) Ting !' she tweeted.

Directed by Prem Soni, the film is a romantic comedy, starring Preity, opposite newcomer Rhehan Malliek.

Amitabh Bachchan thanks his fans

Amitabh Bachchan, who attended the New York premiere of Baz Luhrman's 3D The Great Gatsby with wife Jaya, was overwhelmed by his fans. 

'Back from TGG premiere and has to be said ..THE Ef WAS THE MAIN ATTRACTION ..SIMPLY SUPERB ! American media, fans, security in shock. Thank you my Ef, and thank you to those that cheered their lungs out !! US media thought Leonardo had come, when noise went up ..' he tweeted.

'The fans, the Ef that crowded the stands were absolutely fantastic .. Had it not been for you, no one would have even noticed me !! OK ! getting emotional about the red carpet and seeing all the banners and the cheering from fans. Your sincerity and love...awesome,' he added.

Bachchan appears in a guest role as Meyer Wolfsheim in the film.

Bipasha to do a Bhojpuri film?

Rumours are rife that Bipasha Basu is all set to make her Bhojpuri debut in a film titled Kashi, opposite Manoj Tiwari.

However, Bipasha vehemently denied the news and tweeted: 'Just read that am doing a Bhojpuri film.I have absolutely no knowledge of this film and am not doing it.'
