PIX: Alia Bhatt goes to Kashmir

Bollywood has always loved shooting in Kashmir's beautiful locations.

After Shah Rukh Khan, it was Alia Bhatt's turn to shoot in the magical valley, for her film Highway.

Highway has been directed by Imtiaz Ali, and co-stars Randeep Hooda.

'We are travelling a lot,' the actress said in an interview. 'I am having a great time. I can't wait to go back and shoot more. Working with Imtiaz keeps getting better.'

Highway is a road film, and the two protagonists are required to travel a lot.

Wearing the traditional Kashmiri outfit called pheran and the pathani salwar, the Student Of The Year actress looks like a typical Kashmiri.

After Kashmir, the Highway team will take their road trip to Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi.

A R Rahman has composed the music and background score of the film.

After Highway, Alia will be seen next in Siddharth Anand's 2 States, based on Chetan Bhagat's bestselling book 2 States: The Story of My Marriage, where she is paired opposite Arjun Kapoor.
