The 41st American Music Awards -- one of the biggest annual music nights -- were held on November 24 at the Nokia theatre in Los Angeles.

While country music star Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, popular boy band One Direction emerged as big winners of the night, pop star Rihanna, who won the Favorite Female Artist, Soul/R&B and the Icon Of The Year award at the show, put up a magnificent performance.

Country music star Taylor Swift, who looked striking in her gold outfit with a sheer detail, swept the awards with four nods -- Favorite Female Artist, Country, Artist Of The Year, Favorite Female Artist, Pop or Rock and Favourite Album for Red.

The Voice judge Christina Aguilera showed off her curves in her cutout gown on the red carpet.

Miley Cyrus, who stuck to her favourite monochrome look for the red carpet, kept a relatively low profile after her EMA and Video Music Awards 2013 shenanigans.
