'The day you feel you are talented and have done everything, it's the end. One should remain ordinary. I still get nervous doing my first scene for any film.'

Shah Rukh Khan's Got Talent.

Shah Rukh Khan will host Got Talent World Stage Live. It’s a first-of-its kind global on-ground extension of Got Talent franchise premiering in India.

The show will provide a platform for contestants from all parts of the world to present their talent before a huge audience.

It will be held at Mumbai's Andheri Sports Complex on December 6 and telecast on Colors channel later.

Shah Rukh said, “We have enough talent here in India to show to the world and also get to see the best talent from all over the world. It's a great platform and opportunity for people to showcase their talent. Besides music, and dance, there will be other talents.”

The actor said he was delighted to host the show.

“Performing art is a pure act of passion and love. Whether it is a five-minute act or a film, a performer can bring a smile to anyone's face in seconds. During my appearance on India's Got Talent, I saw great performances. This platform is perfect to explore young talent,” Shah Rukh enthused.

The event will feature performances by 10 Indian and international talents each.

“I used to do mimicry and shayari on stage. To showcase your talent in front of 100 or 1,000 people, you need a platform to enhance it more and it will come true through this show Got Talent World Stage Live.

“The day you feel you are talented and have done everything, it's the end. One should remain ordinary. I still get nervous doing my first scene for any film,” Shah Rukh revealed.

SRK said he feels happy and fortunate to have touched the lives of people through his work.

“We work for name, fame, money, award, reward and also to make people smile, laugh through our work. I have been given a lot more than I deserve. I owe this to everyone. I want to keep working and entertain people."

The Got Talent format is created and owned by Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment and is co-produced by Freemantle Media India. Got Talent World Stage Live is executed by Cineyug.

Inevitably, Shah Rukh was asked questions about his relations with other stars. What did he think about Salman Khan gifting him a sketch he had done himself?

“These questions are old. I am bored (of them). Now we meet...hug each other. There is love, friendship and everything else between us,” SRK replied.

The reality show will be a ticketed event; tickets go on sale this week.
