Deepika Padukone resumes shooting for Happy New Year

Filmmaker Farah Khan has resumed the shooting for next film Happy New Year with Deepika Padukone.

Shah Rukh Khan, who was injured on the sets, is still healing.

He was spotted at Hema Malini and Dharmendra's younger daughter Ahana Deol's wedding on Sunday. 

‘And another big schedule starts of Happy New Year today! It's always like a family reunion.. N Yes Yes am letting @iamsrk rest today,’ she updated.

The cast and crew is currently busy shooting for a song featuring Deepika. Designer Manish Malhotra added: ‘RK studios after very long: Shoot for @TheFarahKhan 'Happy new year'. Song shoot : indian costume for the gorgeous @deepikapadukone. At RK Studios its like going down the memory lane of some fantastic films from the greatest Raj Kapoor.’

Actress Shamita Shetty, who made her Bollywood debut with Mohabbatein, celebrated her 35th birthday on February 2 with family and close friends.

Bipasha Basu shared a picture from the celebrations and tweeted: ‘Happy happy birthday Shamita! Thanks @RockyS_STAR fr a fun night! Love:)’ 

Raj Kundra added: ‘Wishing my beautiful & unfortunately single sister in law a very happy bday! Given her an ultimatum find a nice guy this year or swayamvar! :)’

Shahid Kapoor, who is currently shooting in Kashmir for Vishal Bhardwaj’s next film Haider, will be seen sporting a buzz-cut.

Actor Anupam Kher recently bumped into yoga guru Baba Ramdev at actress Hema Malini’s daughter Ahana Deol’s wedding.

He shared a picture of them together and tweeted: ‘It was wonderful to meet @yogrishiramdev. He said, "Yoga kariye photo mein paet ander nahi karna padega.":)’  

Meanwhile, designer Manish Malhotra shared a picture of him from the wedding and added: 'At the reception with rekhaji and sonakshi and her pretty mom poonam:-)'
